Mostly automatic stream of consciousness...the kind of writing I learned from an excercise in my 8th grade english class in which we kept our pens moving for five minutes with out pausing...examining life...the state of the world...getting by on a tight budget...persuing interests in architecture, art, economics and trying to cobble out a life worth living.

Buildings About Songs and Food
Earth Day 2014...50th anniversary of The New York World's Fair sitting here at Whole Foods thinking about Tent(s) of Tomorrow and wondering about a guy who just walked by...maybe injured, maybe not...he walked by and out into the street. Some younger people seemed to be following him, but not out into the street. I hope he is ok. Wonder why he was walking funny.

Spring at Last! Spring at Last!
Here at the YMCA. Watching baby water-aerobics. Thinking about having my cost dry-cleaned. Now weeks later, still waiting for the end of winter after a few warm days, sitting at Pain Quotidian, giving up on giving up coffee because hot chocolate is making me fat and sluggish. Thinking about learning Russian and proceeding as a poor person.

In Like A Feather Duster Out Like A Short Stack Of Pancakes
Strange days...It's an Indian winter. I'm taking refuge here at Milk Bar across the street from Frank's. I think I saw a rock star at Hoyt-Schermerhorn. I changed dorms last night after a very ugly scene. I hope things get better soon. Young Christians at the Y cheered me up. Also there were ladies walking with with big balls:-)

Happy Valentine's Day
Here at the YMCA having lunch and charging the phone with twenty or thirty funny young christians.
The women's locker room is officially under renovation so I get to move my things to Chinatown for a while.
In other news, the Art Student's League is having some debate about what should/should not happen with the lots adjoining the historic 215 W 57th Street building.
