Last week I started a petition on change.org to ask Bill de Blasio to lend a hand in negotiating the renovation and maintenance of the gutted Art Deco theater. Almost 1,000 people have signed so far. If you google Metro Theater Petition you should find a couple of articles about the building and the petition. We are looking for a transformation that will be a boon for the community. I suggested getting MoMA to buy the building.
