Mostly automatic stream of consciousness...the kind of writing I learned from an excercise in my 8th grade english class in which we kept our pens moving for five minutes with out pausing...examining life...the state of the world...getting by on a tight budget...persuing interests in architecture, art, economics and trying to cobble out a life worth living.

Here I am in the air-conditioned computer lab
in the North Academic Center at CCNY.
My list of things to do today looks like this:
Look for examples of community garden projects
Laundry
Get letter from post office
Continue watching the first season of Six Feet Under in French with Spanish subtitles
Eat lentil soup
Today CAN (City Agriculture Network)
and St. Luke's Episcopal Garden will meet to brainstorm
